As it turns out, getting the facelifted Porsche Cayenne to look more aggressive is somewhat of a hit and miss, according to some people. TechArt seem to like their chances though.

I just checked and double checked to confirm that 4 out of the last 5 Cayenne stories we had, were about tuned models, either by Mansory, TopCar or Expression Motorsport. The reason for that is the Cayenne is arguably the “go-to” luxury SUV for most people, who then go on to either improve upon or flat out ruin its looks by thinking all Aero mods look great.

Take the one wearing the Expression XR kit for example. No wonder most of us hated that hood, the poor arch extensions, the weird diffuser and that ridiculous wing. It wasn’t exactly tasteful.

Not that this TechArt model is a lot better, but some might consider it an improvement over that particular train wreck. The hood isn’t (too) grotesque, the front spoiler is more aggressive without being obnoxious, while the rest of the car features new side skirts, roof spoiler, rear hatch trim and rear diffuser.

The taillights have a different look thanks to the contoured TechArt trims, though whether or not that’s an upgrade over the standard model, depends on who you ask.

Another questionable design element is the headlamp trim, which might make the car look sportier from a distance, but up close you can clearly make out the contours, and that might turn some people off.

The forged alloy wheels are called ‘Formula III’ and feature 5 nicely shaped twin-spokes which make for a solid, though not spectacular, overall design.
