If you could pick only a handful of cars to drive and also capture the footage on video, the Porsche Carrera GT should definitely be on your list.

Thanks to this guy wearing some type of head strap cam, we can get the full sights and sounds experience of what it’s like to drive one of the world’s most amazing supercars.

The Carrera GT is notorious for plenty of reasons. Generally, people consider it hard to drive because of its tricky to use carbon fiber race clutch and the lack of an Electronic Stability Program. If you’re not a race driver, having to conquer north of 550 HP using just the rear wheels can be a little intimidating.

But you can also stay safe by not driving too fast, and simply enjoying the exhaust note of this Formula 1-inspired V10 engine. Thankfully, the person behind the wheel drove only in a straight line and didn’t try to put on a show for the camera in any way.

The bursts of acceleration were “a must” though, after all how else are can we get a sense of how quick this thing really is. Speaking of sensing speed, the POV angle is great if not optimal. Keep your eyes on the road and you’ll really get a good feel for that acceleration.

In terms of performance, 100 km/h (62 mph) happens in under 4 seconds, while the 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque need to be well kept in check when accelerating out of a corner. Remember, we’re talking about a car that weighs just 1,250 kg (2,755 lbs).

As for its top speed, we’re looking at a 330 km/h (205 mph) machine. Not bad for a quick drive, right?
