The Mercedes-Benz V-Class was developed with one thing in mind: modularity.

The third generation, full-size MPV is a true “multi-purpose-vehicle” as it can mold and transform after almost everybody’s needs. It can be a stylish, solemn business conveyor, or it can be the perfect holiday van for you and your family (or friends).

It can be commissioned with two types of beds, a basic kitchen, extensible armchairs, tables, business lounge, you name it. Moreover, there are tons of firms willing to transform it into a mobile luxury VIP coach, especially as it comes with a long-wheel-base variant.

We guess that if there was sporty variant of the V-Class offered from the get-go, Mercedes would have had a complete solution for it. Sure, there’s the AMG package available, but it won’t boost the van’s power – and that’s where Hartmann comes in.

For those of you seeking a little more grunt and style, the German tuner is offering a revised tuning and styling package that makes the V-Class stand out from the crowd. Better forget the serious, sober colors of the stock automobile and concentrate on Hartmann’s white variant complemented by glossy-black and green accents instead.

To complete the sporty visual appearance there’s an ABS-made aerodynamic body-kit (which includes front and rear spoilers and side skirts, a 30 mm lowered suspension and a set of VEST-1 19-inch rims. Mind you, this V-Class isn’t all show and no go as Hartmann included a Power-V25-chiptuning-box in the package, which boosts the output of the 2.1-liter diesel from 190 PS (187 hp) and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque all the way to 224 PS (220 hp) and 505 (372 lb-ft) Nm of torque, making it a competent carrier.
