Kia’s SEMA Show lineup will include an extreme interpretation of the Sorento SUV designed for hardcore off-road use.

Called the PacWest Adventure Sorento, the custom concept is described as a “tough, off-road utility vehicle equipped with custom suspension, snorkel intake system and a paint scheme inspired by the lush forests of the region.”

The teaser photo allows us to see the big off-road tires, high ground clearance, a menacing bull bar complete with LED lights, as well as roof bars which also feature an LED bar to provide enough light for nocturnal expeditions.

Other distinctive features of the customized Kia Sorento are the protection shield underneath the engine, the massive snorkel intake system and the more aggressive-looking front grille.

We suspect the PacWest Adventure Sorento also comes with an upgraded powertrain, but we’ll know for sure a few days from now when the vehicle will debut at the SEMA Show.
