Besides the Viziv Future and Impreza 5-Door, Subaru’s lineup at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show will also include the WRX S4 SporVita.

Essentially a more luxurious take on the WRX S4, the SporVita version “expresses the way the sporty performance of a Subaru vehicle and the uncompromising pursuit of a quality interior space combine to enrich the car life of drivers” – according to the automaker.

The name SporVita is a combination of the Italian words sportiva (sports) and vita (life). We already know that the WRX S4 is a sporty car, so let’s focus on the interior, which features the most significant updates.

The WRX S4 SporVita is equipped with genuine leather seats unique to this model and designed in collaboration with renowned Italian leather maker Mario Levi – the first time a Japanese automaker adopts products from the Italian company.

The two-tone leather (light brown and black) is also featured on the door panels, steering wheel and gearshift lever. Trim modifications and new instrument panel decorative effects give the interior a more luxurious feel.

As for performance, the WRX S4 SporVita gets wider 245/40R18 high-performance tires. It also comes equipped with the Advanced Safety Package as standard equipment. The pack provides a higher level of safety in combination with EyeSight.

Nothing changes under the hood, with the WRX S4 SporVita being powered by a tuned version of the 2.0-liter turbocharged Boxer engine which produces 300PS (296hp) at 5,600 rpm and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) between 2,000 and 4,800 rpm.

Subaru didn’t say whether the WRX S4 will be offered as a limited-edition model in Japan or will remain just a design study.
