If you haven’t heard of the Suzuki Fronte, don’t worry. It was a line of kei cars built in Japan from 1962 to 1988, including the predecessor of the current Alto.

The Fronte was built as a two-door sedan, estate and even a coupe. In 1971 Suzuki launched the Giugiaro-designed Fronte Coupe, which was quite popular in its day.

That model gave Photoshop expert X-Tomi the idea to render the recently-unveiled Suzuki Ignis with a coupe body style. It’s not a wild idea, considering that Honda builds the S660 roadster.

The only problem is the S660 is rear-wheel drive, while the Ignis is front-wheel drive, which means a coupe version wouldn’t be different to drive than average city cars. It wouldn’t look bad, though, and it could allow fans of sporty-looking cars to get a brand new coupe for a very reasonable sum of money.
