We eagerly await the Tokyo motor show each year knowing it will provide some of the maddest Japanese concepts we get to see anywhere. However, it’s not only about that as it has its fair share of production model unveilings, as well.

This year, for instance, we saw the live debuts of the new hardcore BMW M4 GTS, MINI Convertible and Suzuki’s new Ignis raised city car. The Toyota S-FR Coupe may be called a concept by its makers, but if you look closely at it (and its interior) it’s very obvious it’s a near-production-ready machine.

Another production car shown in Tokyo was the Subaru Impreza S207, a limited edition model destined exclusively for the Japanese market. It comes with extra power and body mods, but only 100 examples will be produced.

Why are they limiting its availability? We don’t know, but it’s fair to assume it’d be attractive to any buyer anywhere in the world, especially with the extra power (324 hp) and unique treatment.
