Dirt Rally is no longer the only game offering the promise of a simulated rally experience, as we’ll soon get WRC 5 – a directly competing title. As its name suggests it is the fifth installment in the current series, developed by Bigben Interactive.

This year they’ve enlisted the help of Kylotonn Games in an effort to “provide the best gaming experience for rally fans.”

The exact release date for the title has not been specified, but it will be at one point this autumn, according to the official site.

Features to look out for are (possibly dynamic) weather (“from sun to snow” as they put it), dynamic lighting that makes each time of day pop, realistic damage and the rest is pretty much as you know it from previous installments.

A total of 13 rallies each with 5 distinct stages will have you racing across a total distance of 350 km on a total of 65 unique routes. Obviously the complete and fully licensed 2015 roster of cars and drivers is also present.
