After last week’s new Optima commercial, KIA and Blake Griffin are determined to show us that there’s plenty of things you can do in order to visit the “zone”.

Just like before, the video starts with a man arriving on location, not knowing what it is that brought him there (maybe he should have checked his GPS). And yes, just like before, LA Clippers Power Forward Blake Griffin is there to enlighten the driver on what’s happening.

This time however, Blake isn’t reading a newspaper while sitting in what looked like a seriously comfortable chair. Now apparently he’s a little hungry and a PB&J sandwich is just what the doctor ordered.

Though on a coincidentally serious note, a lot of professional athletes eat PB&J sandwiches on the same day they have to take to the field, because they provide protein, B vitamins, iron and zinc, and have the added benefit of looking downright delicious when you make them absolutely perfect – like what Blake is talking about.

He nailed the peanut butter to jelly ratio, he didn’t leave any crumbs on the table and didn’t mix up the two ingredients while scooping them up with his knife.

What’s interesting though is watching who else is in the zone by checking out what’s going on in the background. Notice the fighter jets at the end? How about the soccer player, skateboarder, snowboarder or the martial artist?

How about the KIA Optima? Just kidding!

It turns out, all you need to do in order to get in the zone is get lost in whatever it is your doing, as long as you’re doing it really well. Kind of like this guy right here.
