With only 700 units built worldwide and all of them (allegedly) already spoken for, the M4 GTS represents a challenge to car spotters, since it’s not the kind of automobile one will encounter very often.

Still, one of our readers managed to capture this magnificent-looking beast at a South African dealer, and the BMW appears to sport the future-classic “Frozen Dark Grey metallic – with orange accents” factory paint scheme.

It even sports the awesome 19”/20” M Star-spoke style 666 M at its disposal, and its front splitter is so close to the ground it almost kisses it.

The hardcore M4’s imposing looks are matched by the 493 HP S55 twin-turbo straight-six that’s capable of launching it from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.8 seconds, topping off at 305km/h (190mph). Adding to its racing image are the standard roll-cage and water injection system straight from the official safety car of the MotoGP.

With a $134,200 price tag and just 300 allocated to the US, the BMW M4 GTS is going to be exclusive – plus, there’s no denying that it looks much more serious in the flesh.
