Whether you feel artistic or not, the original VW Bug can always make you smile.

Manuel Campa was looking for a pre-1958 model before finding a beautiful 1953 Beetle finished in black. Campa didn’t want a spotless example as he intended to daily drive it and enjoy it to the maximum.

“I want to pick up my wife with it, I want to drive in the weekends with it, and have fun and enjoy. It’s a car to have fun with,” he says. “It will break down some days. I don’t want to worry about that.”

A painter by trade, Campa’s passion is to transfer the beauty of classic cars, motorcycles and bicycles on the canvas. “For me, my passions are my cars, my toys, my brushes, my canvas, my studio,” he says, “and that’s where I spend most of my days.”
