The LA Auto Show-bound Audi S8 Plus  and RS7 Performance have been officially priced in the US, at $114,900 and $129,000 respectively.

As you already know, the S8 plus is the latest and greatest version of the A8 flagship sedan, featuring a 4.0 TFSI engine, good for 605 PS and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. Thanks to its twin turbo tech, performance figures are pretty mind blowing – 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 3.7 seconds.

Performance aside, the S8 plus features Audi’s legendary quattro all-wheel drive system as standard, along with a rear sport differential, adaptive air suspension and dynamic steering.

Also standard are the new 21″ 5-double-arm S8 plus titanium wheels, which have a very interesting design, certainly different than what we’re used to seeing on an Audi S8.

Optional extras for the S8 plus include the black interior package, the black singleframe grille, the carbon front blade and diffuser trim as well as the darkened taillights. Basically, if you want your S8 plus looking as “dark” as possible, it will cost you more.

The Dynamic package is also optional, featuring high performance ceramic brakes, a carbon rear lip spoiler and a modified sport exhaust.

All this for $114,900? Not bad considering the fact that it’s faster than the Mercedes-AMG S63 Sedan which holds a retail price of $143,250.

As for the all-new RS7 performance, it’s got the exact same muscle that you get in the S8 ultra, except that with this being a lighter car, you also get slightly better performance.

Flat out, you’ll be doing 190 mph (305 km/h), while accelerating to 60 mph will only take 3.6 seconds.

As opposed to the standard RS7, the ‘performance’ version comes with carbon ceramic brakes, RS sport suspension, a redesigned bumper and a couple of other changes, including yes, new 21″ wheels.

Destination charges, taxes, title, options and dealer charges aside, the RS7 performance will set you back $129,000, this time considerably more than you’d end up paying for a CLS 63 S.
