Regardless of the reason behind this incident, watching this video unfold from a first-person perspective can be very unnerving.

That’s our way of saying that some of you might find this footage a bit disturbing and it’s perfectly understandable. Before we get into it though, there are a couple of things that need to be clarified. First, there seems to be an issue with the title of the video, because not everybody is convinced the driver was drunk.

Second, while scary, it’s hard to say if the car was actually doing 80 mph (128 km/h), or perhaps 80 km/h (50 mph). The angle of the video and the fact that there are objects surrounding the vehicle also makes it seem like the car was going faster than it was in reality, but 80 mph is certainly not out of the question.

And third, that is not a “dirt road”. Those of you who live in certain Eastern European countries know that what others might call a dirt road, which is a term used for the countryside, Eastern Europeans call it a poor road in a not so great neighborhood.

The biggest controversy however is whether or not the driver was actually drunk or simply incapacitated for some reason. Some of the comments suggest that he was having a stroke or a seizure (vastly different), others say it could have been drugs, but at this moment we can’t know for sure.

Whatever it was, people could have gotten seriously hurt or worse, seen as how the car blasted past a pedestrian crossing, and numerous other vehicles.

Again, footage might be a little disturbing to watch but what do you think happened?
