After winning this year’s constructors’ and drivers’ titles as well as runner-up honors with Nico Rosberg, the Benz decided to celebrate with the ‘A45 Mercedes AMG Petronas 2015 World Champion Edition’.

This is what Mercedes-AMG playfully calls a Silver Arrow for everyday use, and considering its specs, the car is quite worthy of the moniker. It obviously features an AMG Petronas livery with petrol green and black highlights (like the F1 W06 Hybrid), large 19″ titanium gray wheels and a larger splitter.

There’s also a motorsport-inspired roof spoiler and a small available paintwork selection which includes Mountain Grey Metallic, Designo Mountain Grey Magno and Polar Silver Metallic. Not quite 50 shades of gray, but you still get three.

Furthermore, the car comes with the Night package, AMG Performance seats, AMG Exclusive package, as well as the AMG Dynamic Plus package.

“With the World Champion Edition we would like to share with our customers our delight and pride in the strong performance of the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team,” said Tobias Moers, Mercedes-AMG CEO. “This is a way for every fan to share the success of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg.”

The racing atmosphere continues inside the cabin where stowage compartment lid features the official lettering of the Formula One team. You can also notice the petrol green stitching on the armrests and dashboard, plus the petrol green rings in the air vents and seat belts. The Performance steering wheel comes in Dinamica microfiber and boasts petrol green stitching and a 12 o’clock mark in the same color.

The A 45 Mercedes AMG Petronas 2015 World Champion Edition will first step into the spotlight at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in Yas Marina on November 26, before becoming available on January 2016, until May 2016.

Prices in Germany start at €65,402 (€66,818 with Designo Mountain grey magno matte paint), and in return you get to celebrate Mercedes winning both Formula One titles by owning a 381 PS premium hot hatch able to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.2 seconds.
