General Motors will reportedly increase the price for the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible, on the 2016MY.

The cheapest version of the muscle car will be the 1LT I-4, with its 275hp (279PS) and 295lb-ft (340Nm) of torque, which should start from $33,695. For the 2LT I-4, equipped with the same engine, prices will be set from $37,795.

The 1LT and 2LT V6 versions, with their 335hp (340PS) and 284lb-ft (385Nm) of torque will start from $35,190 and $39,290, respectively, while the 1SS V8, with its 455hp (462PS) and 455lb-ft (617Nm) of torque will set its future customers back for $44,295. The range-topping version of the drop-top Camaro, the 2SS V8, will reportedly cost $49,295.

All prices mentioned include the $995 destination charge and are based on the ordering guides, meaning that General Motors still has to confirm them.

Chevy’s answer to the new Ford Mustang Convertible was officially unveiled earlier this year and it’s currently in its sixth generation. It comes with a new electro-hydraulically operated cloth top with a multilayer construction. The roof can also be operated by the key fob and it’s capable of opening and closing at speeds up to 30mph (48km/h).
