Toyota revised its compact Verso MPV for the 2016MY, fitting it with the latest Safety Sense array of systems and an upgraded interior.

The Toyota Safety Sense includes systems like a Pre-Collision system, Lane Departure Alert and Automatic High Beam and is fitted as standard across the whole range.

Moreover, the upgraded cabin now hosts a new leather steering wheel with a more sporty design and a new gear lever with a metal and leather finish, while the center console features graphite color inserts which are also found on the parking brake lever and the cupholders.

The seats are covered by a new fabric upholstery with embossed inserts and there is also the option of part-leather trim in dark grey or light grey in the more expensive models.

A seven-inch touchscreen display is the home for Toyota’s Touch2 multimedia system, which in its latest generation is even more user-friendly and has more functions.

The 2016 Toyota Verso is also available in a new Platinum Bronze color and with newly-designed 16- and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The new Toyota Verso will be available across Europe from February 2016, with a choice of a 1.6-litre D-4D diesel and two Valvematic petrol 1.6-litre and 1.8-litre engines.
