The Hyundai Group is moving fast to establish its new premium brand Genesis, the first product of which is the flagship G90 sedan, that is the subject of yet another video from Korea where it’s marketed as the EQ900.

Unfortunately, our Korean is a little rusty, but we did manage to find out that journalists were able to drive the model equipped with Hyundai’s new 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 engine on a 140km (87miles) round trip.

The force-fed V6 is rated at 365hp and 376lb-ft (509Nm) of torque and it’s joined by an entry-level 3.8-liter V6, producing 311hp and 292lb-ft (396Nm) of torque, along with a range-topping version, the 5.0-liter V8, with its 419hp and 383lb-ft (519Nm).

The new Genesis G90 / EQ900 will hit global showrooms in the first half of 2016, right after its local market launch, and will eventually be joined by an even plusher long wheelbase version.
