Despite not being to everyone’s taste, the Nissan GT-R is an undeniably impressive performance car. With acceleration and cornering abilities to rival supercars and hypercars significantly more expensive, it’s hard to believe that it has been in production in R35-guise for eight years.

Thanks to its potent all-wheel drive system, the GT-R is not only greatly capable on the racetrack and the tightest and twistiest roads, it is also versatile enough to be driven in the snow. If you don’t believe us, then the following video shows just that!

We’re not exactly sure where the following clip was filmed but wherever it was, the GT-R owner is clearly more than comfortable driving it through foot-deep snow. What makes this video all the more intense is the fact that the GT-R in question has been extensively modified and now features an advanced anti-lag system as well as an aftermarket exhaust. Custom body parts including a rear diffuser and larger-than-normal rear wing are also present.

We can’t think of a better way to bring in the month of Christmas than a GT-R using its launch control and spitting flames in the snow!
