Lamborghini will celebrate 100 years since the company’s founder, Ferruccio Elio Arturo Lamborghini, was born, by introducing a new supercar at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

The new exotic model was confirmed by company boss, Stephan Winkelmann, in an interview with AutoExpress, where he said: “We will unveil a car in Geneva. In terms of renderings, it is known to the customers already.”

Winkelmann didn’t say anything about what it will look like, except for the fact that it will be different from the other two supercars that wear the “raging bull” logos on their bodies: “The car we will show will be a completely different design from both Huracan and Aventador.”

The Lamborghini boss confirmed what everyone already knows, that it will be expensive, and “in the environment of what we have done“, adding that “it is a car for collectors and lovers of the brand and also for those who want to drive it“.

A Lamborghini insider, quoted by AutoExpress, who has allegedly seen images with the upcoming model, described it as “beautiful and not as extreme as you might expect“.

The reports suggests that the new supercar might be called the Centenario, but let’s not forget that Lambo has recently trademarked the Egoista name, for “vehicles and conveyances”, which suggests that it will be put into production. However, whether the new special edition of the supercar will have something in common with the aforementioned model, remains to be seen.
