Indonesia has its fair share of supercars, but things are not always glamorous, as this young driver a of Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale learned in an extremely unfortunate way.

The 24-year old driver of the exotic model was apparently racing a Ferrari when he lost control of the car. His ride went off the road and hit several pedestrians, leaving many injured and one dead, before coming to a full stop into a tree.

Local media reported that Wiyan Lautner, man guy behind the wheel of the Italian vehicle, was not driving under the influence, as he was tested for alcohol and drugs. The authorities are trying to determine the speed of the car at the time of the accident and are planning to bring a mechanic from Lamborghini to help them in their investigation.

The limited edition Gallardo was left with severe marks on its front fascia, which is not recognizable anymore, and it also has damages to its right side and the rear end too. Keep in mind that the Sant’Agata Bolognese born model was produced in just 150 units, each with a 70kg (154lbs) weight diet over the standard model and with a 570PS V10 under the hood, also found in the Superleggera.
