Modded 1976 Corvette Sport Wagon Fails To Attract Bidders

|

A classic Corvette on sale for a decent amount would usually go in no time, but this car was so mixed up it didn't find an owner.

The initial starting price was set at almost $15,000, but after seeing that no one was interested in placing a bid, the seller dropped it to $9,900.

This didn't do the trick either, as no bidders have shown interest for this 'Vette, which will remain in the online auction until Sunday, January 3, 2016.

The "unique" 1976 Corvette, had a Can Am wagon conversion done in the late 70s. It was modified in California and, as the seller claims, still runs and drives great. It has the glass T-tops, titling front end with the Corvette Summer hood, opening rear window with electric release, power windows, air conditioning (compressor is gone), custom interior done at the same time as the exterior and a 350 V8 with an automatic transmission.

The sports car has covered nearly 100,000 miles (160,000km) throughout its lifetime and is currently located in Gig Harbor, Washington, but it can be shipped worldwide. The buyer is responsible for picking it up or shipping and full payment is required within 3 days of auction close.

That is if someone will finally decides to place a bid for it...
