For most, the 503 hp offered by the range-topping Mercedes-AMG C63 S from its twin-turbo 4L V8 is more than enough power. However for tuning company Posaidon, 503 hp is just the starting point.

The firm has just released its new tuning package for the Mercedes-AMG C63 and C63 S Estate models which focuses on improve the car’s straight line performance. As a result, Posaidon has developed new turbochargers for the car alongside a sports exhaust system with motorsport catalysts and a remapped ECU.

These modifications see power lifted to 690 hp and 656 lb-ft of torque for both the C63 and C63 S variants. When complemented with a tweaked seven-speed dual-clutch transmission capable of dealing with that extra power and torque, the car will accelerate from a standstill to 62 mph in a supercar-rivalling 3.4 seconds before topping at a rather ridiculous 213 mph.

Beyond this standard upgrade package, Posaidon allows C63 Estate customers to option an upgraded differential at the rear as well as a kit to override the start/stop system and an app for the navigation system which detects speed cameras.
