The Ferrari 458 Speciale is not the kind of supercar you’d expect to see with comical foil wraps, but here we are with an example of the Italian exotic wearing a Minions outfit.

Before focusing your anger on its creators, you should know that it came to life to promote the Minions movie, as a PR stunt. It may appeal to youngsters, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that we like it…

However, despite the numerous Minions visible on its body, this hasn’t affected that marvelous sound produced by the naturally aspirated V8 engine, as this video proves.

In case you needed a reminder, we’re here to tell you that the Ferrari 458 Speciale uses the same 4.5-liter unit as the rest of the 458 lineup, which was updated to 605PS (597hp) and 540 Nm (398lb-ft) of torque. That’s enough to allow the supercar to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3 seconds and to reach a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph).

The Ferrari 458 Speciale is the spiritual successor of the 360 Challenge Stradale and the F430 Scuderia, and it came as a last hurrah to the 458 lineup, as it was unveiled two years ago, in Frankfurt.
