We thought that’s FCA’s partnership with Lucasfilm would see a Chrysler-branded Millennium Falcon in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie. Instead, the Italian-American multinational automobile manufacturer came up with some really cool ads to promote its products and campaign the new film.

That said, expect the following commercials to take a somewhat funny swing at the epic space saga, depicting Dodge, Chrysler, Ram, Fiat and Jeep – each with a 30-second spot – in various scenarios, with an array of culturally relevant references inspired from the films.

Like we’ve seen before, the Dodge Charger makes for a good stormtrooper – design wise, at least – and in its latest ad, Doge transformed the First Order Legion into an army of white Chargers and Challengers led by Darth Vader himself – or itself, in this case, as the villain was portrayed by a sinister-looking Dodge Viper ACR. “Join the Dodge side”. Does it get any cooler than this?

Of course, Fiat had a go with the binding, metaphysical, and ubiquitous power of the force as well, pitting the dark side against the light side; still, our favorite commercial award goes to Jeep’s campaign on its ability to take you “far, far away”. That’s it, we won’t spoil the rest of the ads for you – just remember to click the “1/5” menu button on the clip below to watch the rest of the ads.
