This is the kind of car you don’t want to see in your rearview mirror.

Every year, for the Essen Motor Show, Tune It! Safe! – an organization that wants to raise awareness on genuine tuning components and practices – teams up with a known aftermarket specialist in order to create, modify and transform a radical automobile into a fully-fledged police racer.

This year, Tikt Performance was put in charge of creating the police vehicle, and the tuner specialized in Corvettes went all in with this stunning-looking C7 Stingray.

Truth be told, the ‘Vette looks superb in the white and blue “Polizei” livery, wrapped by Foliatec, which subtly complements the discrete carbon front spoiler lip, rear spoiler lip and side skirts. Its wide stance and 19/20-inch rims make it look even more menacing and convincing, especially as Tikt assembled a set of distinctive Hella lightning beacons that acts as a signaling system.

Performance wise, the car gets plenty of grunt from its stock 460 hp and 464 lb-ft (630 Nm) of torque, 6.2-lite V8, so Tikt considered that a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) time of 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 290 km/h (180 mph) is sufficient to chase the bad guys into submission.
