It might be in mint condition, but it’s still a few generations behind the current version made by Europe’s largest automaker.

This light gold finished vehicle is equipped with xenon lights, navigation system, heated electric seats and leather upholstery – and it is trying to find a new home. Nothing strange, so far, especially since it also comes with a full Volkswagen service history.

The seller even mentions that the car is sold with all the keys and documents that came upon purchase back in 2002, when it left the assembly line.

Moreover, this isn’t an ordinary version of the B5 Passat, as it has a 4.0-liter W8 engine, producing 275PS (271hp) and 370Nm (273lb-ft) of torque sent to the 4Motion all-wheel drive system through a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Even by today’s standards, it remains reasonably fast, as it needs 6.5 seconds to reach 100km/h (62mph) and reaches top speed of 250km/h (155mph). The urban fuel consumption stands at 19.4 lt/100km (12.1mpg US), while on the highway the trip computer might indicate as low as 9.5L lt/100km (24.8mpg US).

Speaking of figures, this Passat has almost 94,000 km (58,000 miles)on its odometer. The thing is, the asking price that stands at €16,800 ($18,350). You can take a closer look at the model here and decide for yourself whether it’s worth it or not.
