After being acquired by Harman back in May 2015, Bang & Olufsen Automotive celebrated 10 years in the industry as well as its one-millionth customer.

In late October, Audi enthusiast Dr. Rainer Behne arrived at an Audi dealership in Hamburg in order to pick up his brand new RS6, complete with a night-blue paint job and a B&O Advanced Sound System, capable of pumping out a whooping 1,200 watts through a grand total of 15 active speakers.

Even though driving home in such a car would make pretty much anybody’s day, this was only the beginning for Dr. Behne.

After being welcomed at the dealership, aside from his RS6, he also received €15,000’s worth of Bang & Olufsen audio equipment, which is an absolutely amazing prize, especially if you love your sound systems and you enjoy turning your home into a real-life concert hall.

“Audi aficionados choose the brand for its ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ and Bang & Olufsen is central to this. For me, it was a must to opt for a Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System in my new Audi RS6. In fact, all of the Audis in our company carpool have a Bang & Olufsen sound system on-board. I already knew what the Bang & Olufsen experience was like, but being the one-millionth customer and receiving this incredible prize is truly a wonderful surprise”, said an enthusiastic Dr. Behne later in the day.

We’re not sure what an audiophile would love most, the 1,200 watt system inside the RS6, the €15,000’s worth of equipment, or the V8-powered 560 PS Audi RS6 – more than capable of providing you with a whole different type of symphony as you drive down the street and jump out to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds.
