As the most popular basketball player ever to come out of Poland and also a brand ambassador for Porsche in his home country, Marcin Gortat will probably find plenty of willing buyers for his Porsche Panamera GTS.

Gortat joined the NBA back in 2007 when he signed for Orlando Magic, where he played for three years before moving on to the Phoenix Suns and eventually ending up in Washington, where he’s doing an excellent job under the rim for the Wizards.

However, Gortat has been a well known car enthusiast ever since his Orlando days, when he used to tell the press about how fond he was of the E60 BMW M5 and how he had his tuned by none other than G-Power in order for it to produce well over 600 HP.

Now, as a Porsche ambassador in Poland, he’s probably more than happy to drive cars such as the Panamera, which by the way is his favorite Porsche. He was recently quoted as saying that the Panamera “combines both elegance and sporty nature – especially with the release of the GTS.”

While there are two other versions in the Turbo and Turbo S that can accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph) quicker than the GTS, this is by no means an entry-level version when it comes to the Panamera. In fact, with 440 PS at its disposal, the GTS will sprint to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds and climb all the way to 288 km/h (178 mph).

This particular model that Marcin is putting up for sale was built last year and has traveled just over 22,000 km (13,670 miles) – which means it’s still almost brand new, which is why the asking price is just under $134,000 (550,000 zl) in Poland. It also comes with carbon-ceramic brakes, adaptive cruise control and the Burmester high-end surround sound system, among plenty of other interior features that will let you know you’re driving a luxury car.

As for the color, you’re looking at Rhodium Silver Metallic on the outside, and black leather & alcantara upholstery on the inside, where you also get plenty of carbon and metallic accents.

The car is located at the Porsche Center in Sopot, Poland.
