If you’re a university student looking to stand out from the dozens of hatchbacks on your way to campus, you could do what the following student did and build your very own walking bicycle.

The completely custom creation is featured in the 10-second video below and while no details about it have been revealed, it is certainly one of the most creative modes of transport we’ve ever come across.

At the rear, the walking bike features two large wheels that have been fitted individually to a central spin made from steel tubing. The rider then sits on a custom seat and like a normal bike, has two pedals to move it forward.

However rather than driving the rear wheels like one would expect, the pedals are connected to a chain that spins two massive legs at the front, effectively allowing the bike to walk its way down the street.

Apparently built by a student from Oregan State University, this is certainly one of the most creative ways to travel.
