While some rumors indicated towards a Geneva reveal of the new GLC Coupe, Mercedes-Benz wasn’t quite ready to pull the covers off the sporty crossover.
Whether it will wait until this fall to present it in Paris or if it will go ahead with an earlier reveal at the New York Auto Show that opens its gates on March 23 or perhaps at China’s Beijing Motor Show a month later, remains unknown at this point.
Nevertheless, until Mercedes-Benz unveils the GLC Coupe, we can tell you that it shares its platform, engine lineup and interior with the regular GLC, offering a choice of 4-cylinder and V6 units.
The GLC Coupe scooped here out in the open doesn’t show the new tailgate design and updated lighting units, but it should be enough to make some prospective buyers wait a little longer and not place a deposit on the new BMW X4 without checking out what Merc’ has in store.
