The new Volvo S90 and V90 are now available to order in the UK, with prices starting from £32,555 for the saloon and £34,555 for the estate model.

Every version of the S90 and V90 is well-equipped, even the entry-level Momentum cars that come with leather upholstery, LED headlights with active high beam, two-zone climate control with ‘CleanZone’ air filtration system, keyless engine start and heated front seats.

Volvo’s Sensus infotainment system is also standard, offering customers a 9″ touchscreen with sat-nav, voice control, access to the internet and a range of cloud-based apps such as TuneIn, Stitcher and Yelp.

As if all of that wasn’t enough, Volvo is also making the latest version of City Safety as well as their innovative semi-autonomous Pilot Assist system standard on all S90 and V90 models. This system, unlike previous versions, no longer needs to follow another car in order to maintain distance, brake, accelerate and so on – plus it will now give gentle steering inputs to keep your car within lane markings while at motorway speeds of up to 80 mph (128 km/h).

Move up in the range and you’ll find the Inscription spec models, which add soft Nappa leather upholstery, powered front seats, a 12.3″ active TFT driver’s information display (Momentum cars get an 8″ version), 18″ alloys, walnut interior inlays and side step illumination with chrome exterior details.

An optional Xenium pack is available across the range and adds a powered tilt and slide glass sunroof (panoramic in the V90), a parking camera system with 360 surround view and the Park Assist Pilot system which includes automatic parallel and 90-degree parking. Other options include Apple CarPlay and the Bowers and Wilkins premium sound system which comes with no fewer than 18 speakers and an output of 1,400W.

Both the new S90 as well as the V90 are available to order now, while customer deliveries are expected to start in September for the saloon and October for the estate.
