Brabus decided to add a splash of color in its line-up, but that doesn’t make this particular G-Class less monstrous and ostentatious.

To be honest, black suits the ferociously tuned Brabus Mercs because it is supposed to conceal their true nature. That’s the theory, anyway…

On the other end of the spectrum, this “Solar Beam” variant doesn’t shy away from making itself noticeable, sporting a wide array of Brabus accessories to further differentiate itself from the pack. Needless to say, the color combination – which isn’t a stress on the eye – makes it appear even more striking, while the easily highlighted Brabus badging makes for an overwhelming appearance.

Although the tuner didn’t provide additional technical information about the car, the AMG G63 Widestar G700 moniker reveals what’s going on under the hood. The twin-turbocharged V8 was uprated to 700 metric-horses (that’s 690 HP) and probably in the vicinity of 960 Nm (708 lb-ft) of torque; enough to push the ~2.5 tone car from 0 to 100 Km/h in 4.0 seconds.

Like on any other Brabus-branded automobile, the attention to detail is outstanding; inside and out. The interior, like the exterior, sports the same color scheme, with the leather seats and dash beautifully complemented by the yellow stitching.
