Ford will cover the creation process of its newest racing monster in a four-part mini documentary series, including the design and development of the 600hp Focus.

The Ford Focus RS RX will participate in the 2016 World Rallycross Championship with Ken Block and Andreas Bakkerud sitting behind the wheel.

Powered by a 600hp version of Ford’s EcoBoost engine, the Focus RS RX is the brainchild of UK-based and long-term rally development partner M-Sport, Hoonigan Racing Division and of course Ford Performance.

“This project has been probably the most dynamic involvement of my team in a car like this,” said Ken Block. “Trying to race at the highest level of the sport and doing it with factory help and with a race shop like M-Sport has been incredible.”

The car itself features a bespoke wide-body kit with a trick aero agenda, custom underbody protection, a six-speed sequential gearbox, SLA-type suspension, Brembo 4-piston calipers, 17-inch WRX wheels and WRX spec AVON race tires.
