When it comes to Ferrari supercars, the F40 is one of the most beloved ones, as many still prefer it over its successor, the F50.

The likes of the Enzo and the LaFerrari are its direct descendants and with the performance it had and the price tag it carried, it’s easy to understand why so many people look at it and see a true automotive legend.

Back when it first came out, the F40 rocked a $400,000 price tag, which is roughly $830,000 if we were to do a little present-day conversion. Last year, one even sold for as much as $1.24 million – enough to buy you a modern 918 Spyder.

So is there anything special about this particular one, you may ask? Well, the photographer did a mighty good job on it, that’s for sure. On top of that, the car is sporting a set of gloss silver 305 HRE Classic wheels and a rear wing which is anything but stock.

In terms of performance, the F40 used to be good for 478 PS, which in turn sent it from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 4.2 seconds. Not bad for a late 80s car, right?
