A few days ago, Ferrari organized free trials for the F1 Clienti & XX Programs on the Mugello track, and the result was a loud showcase of race-bred prancing horses.

The model line-up included all sort of automobiles, from Formula 1 cars to F1-derived 6.0-litre V12 hybrids, developing no less than 1,050 HP – we’re talking about the outrageous FXX K, of course.

Painted in various color schemes, the 18 FXX Ks boast power figures that could put single-seater F1 cars to shame. But that doesn’t mean they can hold a candle up to them on the track, as the open-wheelers power-to weight ratio and flawless aerodynamics make them the superior vehicles. Nevertheless, the FXX K is the closest thing to a customer-dedicated Formula 1 car.

The sinfonia of howling machines was completed by four 599XX and eleven 599XX Evo models, proving that despite their age, the two variants are just as visceral as their state-of-the art, electrically aided counterparts.

Actually, around Fiorano, the 599XX Evo is just one second slower than the FXX K, registering a time of 1:14:00.
