Tweaked for the new model year, the Brio sedan and hatch are getting ready to arrive at dealerships across the Asian market.

Both models have received a slightly updated exterior design consisting of a new grille, revised projector headlights with LED position, new front fog lights, different bumpers, fresh alloy wheels and a new metallic color called Lunar Silver, offered alongside the White Taffeta and Crystal Black Pearl.

Improved ergonomics, a new center console, push-start ignition, Honda Smart Key System and Multi Information Display complete the 2016 Brio Amaze sedan and Brio hatch.

Power comes, in both bodystyles, from a 90 HP, 1.2-liter i-VTEC four coupled to a a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The engine is compliant with the Euro 4 emission standards and all variants of the latest Brio are equipped with two airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) and an alarm system.

Honda Asia will offer all customers of the 2016 Honda Brio free maintenance checks and spare parts from 10,000 to 50,000 km (~6,200-31,000 miles). Prices for the Brio V CVT start from 495,000 baht ($13,945 equivalent) in Thailand, while the Brio Amaze is available in two versions, the V CVT, from 517,000 baht ($14,565) and the SV CVT, from 577,000 baht ($16,255).
