WWE superstar John Cena surprised two US Invictus Games competitors and their family members by giving them a VIP ride in a bespoke Range Rover Sport SVR.

As an Invictus Games ambassador for Jaguar Land Rover, Cena had fun collecting unsuspecting US team members Tino Ulli and Joshua Jablon and their girlfriends, and bringing them to ESPN Wide World of Sport, which is the venue for the Games.

With 551 PS and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) under the hood, the RRS SVR certainly can be considered one of the world’s most powerful SUVs – making it an appropriate vehicle for one of the world’s strongest celebrities.

“I’m honored to be part of the Invictus Games in Orlando this year and have the opportunity to meet with some of the US team,” said the WWE star. “It was a lot of fun taking on the role of surprise chauffeur and I was pleased to have the opportunity to get to know the competitors and their family members. We are all indebted to our servicemen and women and I fully support the Games and the opportunity it gives us all to recognize the heroes of our nation. I wish all the competitors the very best of luck for the final stages of the Games.”

Cena will also be featured in the Invictus Games Closing Ceremony, when he’ll be presenting the “Land Rover Above and Beyond Award” to a worthy competitor that also stood out as a teammate during the games.

Concurrently, Jaguar Land Rover has announced it will continue as Presenting Partner of the 2017 Invictus Games, which will be held in Toronto, Canada.
