Smart is currently in the midst of promoting this special edition Brabus Fortwo Urbanlava in Germany, where it’s priced from €17,990.

Buyers interested in the Cabrio version will need to spend upwards of €21,990, and if they do, then they’ll probably enjoy Smart’s ad campaign as well, which is meant to reflect the car being so hot it will make things melt.

Visually speaking, the Brabus Fortwo Urbanlava stands out thanks to its individual paint finish on the Brabus front spoiler, side skirts, mirror covers and rear diffuser. Then there’s also the chromed tailpipe to consider.

The ad campaign consists of three short videos, starting with a little girl whose ice cream starts melting as soon as she crosses the street and meets up with this “lava-hot” special edition Smart car.

As for the other two, it’s pretty much the same tongue-in-cheek idea, but we’ll let you judge for yourselves if you think this car is such an attention-grabber in traffic.
