While estimated to fetch $100,000, the 1996 Hummer H1, originally purchased by Tupac Shakur, went under the hammer for more than three times the price.

The custom-modded vehicle exchanged hands a few days ago for a hefty $337,144, at RRAuction’s event, purchased by a Tupac fan and collector from the Midwest, who wished to remain anonymous.

Finished in black and having the “Eliminator” lettering over the rear fenders, this Hummer H1 is equipped with a 360-degree spotlight, grille guard with auxiliary lights, 12,000 pound (5,443 kg) winch, diamond-plate bumpers, large off-road tires and central tire inflation system, among others.

Step inside the cabin and you will be greeted by beige leather upholstery, burl wood trimmings, a Clarion sound system with 12-disc changer, air-con, GPS navi, sliding rear glass and tinted windows.

Motivated by a 6.5-liter V8 engine, mated to an automatic transmission, it was driven for 10,101 miles (16,256 km), ans was accompanied by two copies of its registration information, proving that Tupac bought it on August 16, 1996, about a month before he was murdered, and came with promotional cassettes of the rapper’s All Eyez on Me and Michael Jackson’s Thriller.
