Standard equipment includes 17-inch alloy wheels, diamond grille with black-finished pins, LED headlights, Agility Control comfort suspension, Active Park Assist, gloss black interior trim with brushed aluminum, heated sports seat wrapped in leather, sat-nav and ambient lighting (automatic version only).

For a premium of £1,495 ($2,165), the AMG Line adds an AMG specific body kit, 18-inch alloy wheels, 15 mm lowered suspension, flat bottom steering wheel, brushed steel sports pedals, black roof lining and black ash wood trim with brushed aluminum.

If more is the word you’re looking for, then you can go for the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4Matic Cabriolet and its 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 petrol engine, rated at 367 HP and mated to a 9-speed auto gearbox. On top of the C 200, it adds 18-inch alloy wheels, black mirror housings, BiTurbo 4Matic lettering on the front wings, AMG performance exhaust, brake pads with AMG lettering and Artico and Dinamica upholstery.

Two diesel models are also available, the C 200 d and C 250 d, joined by the range-topping AMG C 63 Cabriolet and its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, producing 476 HP and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque in base form or 510 HP and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) in the more powerful ‘S’ grade.

Prices start from £65,685 ($95,145) for the former, which benefits from spoiler lip, V8 BiTurbo lettering on the wings, AMG performance exhaust system, Nappa leather upholstery and AMG steering wheel wrapped in Nappa. The latter is on sale from £72,245 ($104,645) and adds AMG performance seats, AMG steering wheel in Nappa and Dinamica, electronic rear limited-slip differential and 19-inch alloy wheels.
