Seeing how Aston Martin’s Vanquish Zagato could work really well as a Roadster, let’s go ahead and consider another alternative.

Rendered by X-Tomi, this saloon version of the Vanquish Zagato Concept manages to stay true to the original, while also offering those of us who like to dream, a little something to think about.

We can see that this car kept the coupe’s short rear overhang and sloping roof line, though we can’t say it looks more practical in any way than the real Aston Martin Rapide, which never was the most comfortable car in its class in the first place.

In fact, if this thing was real, passengers in the back would probably struggle to find sufficient headroom, while getting in and out of the car would most likely be a real nuisance for anybody who’s remotely tall.

In terms of performance, we’d imagine it would use the original concept’s 5.9-liter naturally aspirated V12, producing 600 PS (592 HP), which in turn would put it ahead of the Rapide.

So do you think this type of car could outshine Aston Martin’s previous attempt at a saloon and be successful, despite not looking nearly as practical, as say, the Porsche Panamera?
