The compact Italian van received a moderate refresh for 2016 to bring it in line with the rest of the Fiat range.

On the outside the updated Fiat Fiorano now comes with a revised front bumper and new designs for the alloy wheels, with the cabin gaining a redesigned steering wheel, new graphics for the instrument cluster and a five-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

The engine range includes a 77hp 1.4-litre petrol and two turbo-diesel 1.3-litre units with 80 and 95hp respectively. Those looking for the best fuel economy will opt for the EcoJet version which comes with a Start&Stop function, a “smart” alternator and a robotised Comfort-Matic gearbox, all of which contribute to the combined 74.3mpg UK (3.8lt/100km) fuel economy and 100gr/km of CO2 on offer.

Load capacity reaches up to 2.8 cubic meters and the large rear doors open wide up to 180 degrees. Customers will also get the Adventure option that adds a jacked-up suspension, M+S tires, a front bumper with skid plate and an electronic locking differential for better traction in low grip conditions.

Pricing for the new Fiat Fiorino kicks off at £11,315 (excluding VAT and delivery charges), with Fiat UK offering both Cargo and Combi bodystyles.
