Holden has pulled the covers off the facelifted Colorado in Australia, ahead of its public debut scheduled for tonight, at the ANZ stadium.

Compared to the previous version, designers have fiddled with the brand’s twin-port grille, headlights and front bumper and, in tone with the exterior, the dashboard has been reworked and it now features stronger lines and better quality materials.

All versions of the popular pickup truck are equipped with a 7.0-inch or an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, with DAB+ digital radio, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility and a rearview camera.

Higher specs will add satellite navigation system, voice recognition, remote window activation, front parking sensors, forward collision alert, and lane departure warning.

Personalizing the 2017 Holden Colorado means going through the brand’s beefed up list of accessories, which now includes 18-inch wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, LED driving lights, bullbars, safari bar, bash plates, extended rail sports bars, steel rear step, tubular side steps, fender flares, snorkel and nudge bar.

Those interested in the tweaked ute will have to wait until September 1, when the first units will hit the brand’s dealerships in Oz, with full specs and pricing to be announced before that date.
