Full pricing and range details of the new E-Class Estate were announced today, with Mercedes UK opening the order books.

The range kicks off with the E220 d SE at £37,935 which is powered by a new all-aluminum 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine producing 191hp and 295lb ft (400Nm) of torque.

The new Mercedes E220 d Estate will be offered with the company’s nine-speed automatic gearbox as standard. Fuel economy is rated at a combined 67.3 mpg UK while CO2 emissions are just 109g/km. 0-62mph (0-100km/h) comes in 7.7 seconds.

The AMG Line model with the same engine starts at £40,430 offering 19in alloys, upper dashboard finished in Artico leather, black ash wood trim, brushed stainless steel AMG sports pedals with black rubber studs, and a three-spoke AMG steering wheel wrapped in Nappa leather.

Mercedes also offers the optional Premium and Premium Plus packages. The former adds Keyless-Go Comfort package, memory package, and a panoramic glass sunroof for the price of £2,795. For an additional £1,100 the Premium Plus package adds a better sound system with 13 speakers and the Multibeam LED Intelligent Light System.

As for the advanced driver-assistance systems, customers can opt for the £595 Lane Tracking Package which includes the Passive Blind Spot Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist and the £1,695 Driving Assistance Plus package for those who want the full experience. The latter includes the Steering Pilot, Distance Pilot Distronic, Speed Limit Pilot, Active Brake Assist with cross-traffic function, Evasive Steering Assist and Pre-Safe Impulse Side.

Pricing for the six-cylinder E350d and E43 AMG models will be announced later this year while Mercedes UK also added the entry-level E200d in the Saloon range, offering 150hp from the same 2.0-litre diesel and returning a combined 72.4mpg UK and 102g/km of CO2 emissions.
