Thought Ferrari’s XX Programme was exclusive? It certainly is but it isn’t quite as illustrious as Corse Clienti, the most impressive private racing program for Maranello’s wealthiest and most well-respected owners.

While the XX Program allows Ferrari customers to shell out millions of dollars for road-based track cars, Corse Clienti is restricted to real race cars.

For a rather reasonable sum between 1.5 million and 2.5 million euros, experienced racers can purchase their very own F1 car. While no brand new ones cars are available, to avoid technical details falling into the wrong hands, some clients do own true icons from the Prancing Horse.

As CNET’s Roadshow recently demonstrated, one of the most insane privately owned cars is the 2004 car driven by Michael Schumacher to his final Formula One world driver’s championship.

Unlike the XX Programme, Corse Clienti does allow owners to keep their cars at home rather than being stored at the factory. Most however, do choose to keep their vehicles at Ferrari, allowing the company to keep them maintained and in running order.
