Some people like supercars, while others are obsessed with specific classics. This guy, though, likes Transits, and he’s got 6000 of them.

Contrary to popular beliefs, liking something else besides the fastest, most exotic, most expensive, or most complicated vehicles ever made does make you a petrolhead, and Peter Lee proves it.

He’s passion is a bit out of the ordinary, as the man collects everything related to the world’s third best-selling van of all time: The Ford Transit.

With over eight million sold, Ford’s light commercial vehicle has definitely left its mark on the industry. The model has been produced across four basic platform generations since 1965, and its innumerable variations can suit any type of customer. There’s the one-way tipper, the Connect, the drop-side, the four-door crew cab, the motorhome, the two-door chassis cap, and the list can go on and on, and with the second floor of his house dedicated to the die-cast model collection and memorabilia, Peter Lee probably has them all.

But the real gems are in the garage, as Lee also owns (quite predictably) a few real-life, rare models as well. While he also owns a Transit ambulance in pristine condition, the stars of the collection are two Custom Transits – one of which comes with a cabinet and Jack Daniels serving bar.

Lucky for him, he’s not passionate about Lambos.
