Remember the QX Sport Inspiration concept? Infiniti presented it a few months ago at the Beijing Motor Show. But now it’s back, with a fresh coat of paint for the Paris expo.

A sleek and muscular crossover concept, the QX Sport Inspiration is tipped to preview the next-generation QX70 – Nissan’s sporty upscale crossover formerly known as the FX and now nearing the end of its second generation.

For the Paris Motor Show, Infiniti replaced the original concept’s silver paint with a deeper matte grey and the wheels with larger 22-inchers (and matching brake calipers) in a rich bronze color. The predominantly black and white has also been enhanced with highlights of brown leather and added ambient lighting around the kickboards.

The concept’s resurgence gives us the chance to see what Infiniti has in mind to take on the growing competition coming the likes of Britain’s Jaguar F-Pace, Italy’s new Maserati Levante, and so many other entries in this booming segment.
