We were suitably impressed (by the enormous cost if by nothing else) when Overfinch revealed the first renderings of its latest project last week. But now the go-to tuner for customized Range Rovers has revealed what it calls the Supersport in full, and we dare say it looks even more muscular than those original renderings suggested.

The Supersport is based on the Range Rover Sport SVR, a seven-seat sport-utility vehicle with JLR’s signature 5.0-liter supercharged V8 rated at 550 horsepower. Overfinch has taken it even further, replacing the hood and fitting a new body kit, all made out of carbon fiber and developed with motorsport consultancy Prodrive to both reduce weight and improve cooling.

The modified SVR also features a titanium exhaust and new intake system as well as a fresh set of 22-inch alloys – all of which makes one of the most enticing SUVs even more so. But it’ll cost you: Overfinch will only make 25 examples, with pricing starting at £179,990. That works out to about $240k, or roughly double what the Range Rover Sport SVR costs new from the showroom.
