The creators of South Park have taken to the streets to promote the recent premier of its 20th season. And as you might have expected, they’re ticking off some people who don’t appreciate their particular brand of humor.

The publicity campaign saw Comedy Central (the network on which the show runs) sending out a small fleet of trucks to select locations with customized billboards depicting relevant scenes from episodes past.

The trucks were photographed in front of Casa Bonita, PF Changs, KFC, and Hooters restaurants in Colorado and Los Angeles; the White House and Lincoln Memorial in DC; the head offices of the Scientology and Mormon churches in LA and Salt Lake City; both the Trump and Clinton presidential campaigns headquarters in New York; Facebook’s offices in Silicon Valley; the Canadian border in Buffalo; and a Whole Foods in California. They even sent one to the actual city of South Park, CO.

“We’ve been there,” reads the caption on the truckside billboards, but some apparently wished they weren’t. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the trucks were asked to leave from in front of the White House, Lincoln Memorial, and Church of Scientology.

Walter Levitt, chief marketing officer for Comedy Central, said: “We knew some locations might not be pleased to have us out there, but we thought this is a perfect way to celebrate everything the series has covered in its 19 seasons.”
