Dacia has chosen the 2016 Paris Auto Show to present the revamped Sandero, Sandero Stepway, and Logan MCV family.

Based on the second-generation cars, which have been around for the past 4 years, the affordable vehicles now boast a new lighting signature on both ends, different pattern for the LED DRLs, reworked bumpers, and updated wheels. The Sandero Stepway also has a tweaked front fascia that picks up on the design cues of the Duster.

There’s a new four-spoke steering wheel inside, which brings the horn push to its center, and on higher-end versions, it has the so-called ‘Soft Feel’ finish. Satin-effect chrome trimmings for the air vent surrounds and center console fascia are also found in the cabin, while the Sandero Stepway now adds chrome-plated interior door releases, and new fabric upholstery.

New driver aids are found across the range and they include, depending on the selected grade, a rearview camera, Hill Start Assist, but the most important addition is that of a new 1.0-liter, three-cylinder petrol unit, known as SCe 75, rated at 75 PS (74 HP). Offered as the new entry-level engine, it can be had with the Easy-R automated manual transmission, while other units that can be paired with this gearbox are the TCe 90, TCe 90 LPG, dCi 75, and dCi 90.
